Ron Paul on Ted Cruz
So Ron Paul comes on television two weeks ago.. and basically comes out
and says there are no libertarians left in the field (which is simply
not true). Then he praises Bernie Sanders for having certain
libertarians tendencies (hah!) then he suggests Trump might support free
markets because he's a "business man." Then he blasts Ted Cruz
suggesting Cruz is owned by Goldman Sachs! What in the world? Ted Cruz
is owned by Goldman Sachs why? Because his wife used to hold a low
level job there? Or because he took out a loan from Goldman Sachs
during his Senate run, which is he had take out against his own assets
as collateral? Ridiculous. Goldman Sachs has given $0 in donations to
Cruz. Period. I love Ron Paul, he's a great man, but I don't understand
these knee-jerk responses. In fact, Ron Paul and Rand Paul supported
Ted Cruz when he ran for Senate in Texas. Very upsetting from such a
great man.
